The Salmon & Avocado Roll (grilled) and miso soup always hits the spot. Located in the middle of Grand Central Market, the service is quick and employees are kind.

Cheap eats results in mediocre food. The chicken curry rice plate lacked any flavor or depth and was scarce in terms of chicken and veggies. It filled my up though which is the best compliment I can provide at this time.
Note that this was not my first choice. It was late in the day and most of the kiosks had already closed. It was a choice between this place, Thai, and Mexican roasted meats. My mistake... -

Mehh I wasn't incredibly sold on this. I thought the marketplace concept meant that all the food would be a certain quality, but between how long the food takes and the price, it just didn't hit that mark for me. The rice was slightly overcooked, which happens when you cook it in bulk so I wasn't too upset. But my chicken teriyaki was just so dull and lacked any character that I was almost offended for it. I also got takoyaki because Japanese, but that was definitely a mistake.
I assume not many people get takoyaki because at least 7 people got their food before mine came up. And then when I got it, the inside was basically underdone (still edible, just not the fluffy goodness you usually get) and it just honestly had little taste. I wouldn't come back, but it did make me want to find good takoyaki. -

While you can get an inexpensive salad if you want to try to be healthy I would not recommend the chicken salad. It was more than half chicken skin and lacking taste. With all the options in Grand Central don't waste a meal here.

Highly recommend venturing elsewhere at Grand Central. The food is subpar and not authentic. My bf ordered the curry noodles and takoyaki. No sign of octopus in the takoyaki. Curry noodles were bland.
